Before my current role, I spent ten years working with high needs students in BPS. I have a BA in English, M.ed in special education, and am currently pursuing coursework in educational leadership. I am passionate about creating equitable educational opportunities for urban students. I enjoy coaching basketball in my spare time and have been lucky enough to work with TechBoston's Girls' basketball team for the last four years.
This will be my 35th year in Boston Public Schools. I was a middle school computer teacher for 31 years, and for the past 4 years have worked as TBA's registrar. I love TBA because I get to see ours students grow from 6th graders to young adults heading out to their amazing futures! I enjoy doing crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
This is my fifth year working in BPS. I attended Boston Public schools. My career in education began as a substitute teacher, then working as a special education para professional before returning to graduate school to get a Masters in Education. As a special education teacher, I taught in an inclusion setting in Lowell before moving back to Boston in 2016.
Ms. Foley has been a teacher at TBA for 6 years and in BPS for 20. She grew up in Virginia and went to college at Radford University with a degree Graphic Design. She has recently gotten her M.Ed in Reading and is now the school librarian. She lives in Dorchester with her husband and 2 daughters. She enjoys reading, landscaping, and doing home projects.
Jenny was born in Annapolis, MD, earned her B.S. in Mathematics at Union College in Schenectady, NY and completed her Masters program at Northeastern University. She has been working at TechBoston Academy for 11 years as a Math Teacher, Special Education Liaison, New Teacher Developer and Mathematics Department Lead. This year she will be moving into administration as a Transformation Instruction Coach.

Hello, my name is Akeda Hunter. I work for College Advising Corps-Boston University as the full-time College Adviser for TechBoston Academy. I recently graduated from Boston University's Wheelock College of Education in 2019 and I am here as a "near peer" with updated experience in the revolving college realm. Although I work primarily with the 12th grade class, I am here as a resource for all students in whatever level of the college application process that may be in.
I have a very large extended family (both of my parents are one of seven!) I grew up babysitting and helping my younger cousins with their homework, which inspired me to become a teacher. I love spending time with my family, especially my two young children.
I am Felix Pagan a school psychologist for the Behavioral Health Department. I am going into my fifth year as a school psychologist for the Boston Public Schools. I interned at TechBoston Academy and I am happy to be back working with such a wonderful staff and students.
