English Language Arts
HS ELA
Casey Andrews is starting her ninth year of teaching; this is her fifth year working as an English teacher at TechBoston. A Hampshire College graduate, Ms. Andrews also earned her MAT from Simmons University as well as an MA in Critical and Creative Thinking from UMass Boston. At TechBoston, Ms. Andrews serves as the senior advisory coordinator, as a co-facilitator on the Anti-Racism PD Committee, and as a co-facilitator of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA). Ms. Andrews lives in West Medford with her partner and baby.

Mr Driscoll has been teaching ELA at TechBoston Academy since the start of the 2014/'15 school year. Once a professional musician, this career changer has found his true calling and love working with the students of the TBA community.
Ms. Malusev is in her second year of teaching 10th Grade College English at TBA. Before coming to TechBoston, she taught middle school ELA and worked in immigration law. She loves Zadie Smith, dance, and The Wire, and is excited to reading and learning with her new students this coming year!

Born and raised in JP, Mrs. Nir is a product of BPS. She’s been bringing her passions of travel, activism, and the arts into her ELA classes since 2007 and believes school should be, above all, fun. You’ll learn a lot in her ELA class, but more importantly, you’ll have a good time doing it!

Mathematics
Guggs teaches math and coding skills. She came to TBA in 2017 after teaching in Washington, D.C. She enjoys hiking, doing number and word puzzles, and spending time with people. She lives in Dorchester with her husband.

In 2001, I transitioned from the pharmaceutical industry to academia. Since then, I've been using my love for science to spark students' interest in the sciences. Additionally, I enjoy the energy students bring to class every day and work toward guiding them into channelling that energy into academic excellence.
Ms. Mannion is originally from New Jersey and loves science, math, riding bikes, camping, baking and her family. She’s taught at TechBoston since 2007 and enjoys being part of such a caring community.
After working as a carpenter and construction manager for 6 years I began my career in education. I interned at TBA in 2016 while earning my M.Ed from UMB as part of Teach Next Year. After working as a biology and Special Ed teacher at MLPHS for 4 years I am happy to come home to TBA and continue my work of sharing the world of science with my students

I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I got to start living that dream in 2013 when I entered the Boston Teacher Residency. After teaching at a few different places I landed at TBA in 2015 and have loved it ever since. I love living just down the street from the school in Dorchester with my wife Kate, my son Callum, and our dog Luna.

After cooking in western Massachusetts restaurants for fourteen years I moved to Boston to become a teacher. Through my teaching, I love getting to know each other, pushing ourselves to be our best, and analyzing our world together. #KLove Yusuf has earned an A.A. from Springfield Tech Community College, a B.A. in history from UMASS Amherst, and an M.Ed from UMASS Boston.

Dr. P received his Ph.D in Educational Administration from Boston College in 2002. He has worked at TechBoston Academy since 2005 and lives in Randolph, MA where he served on the school committee.
